Emily is a registered dietitian who has been working with individuals with eating disorders or disordered eating for over a decade. She has worked at the residential, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient levels. Emily has experience working one-on-one with adolescents and adults, as well as supporting caregivers who are navigating the treatment process and nutritional rehabilitation.
Emily has a particular interest in exploring the intersection of food allergies and disordered eating, and how to guide safe eating while living a full life. Emily takes a non-diet, all foods fit, HAES approach to nutrition counseling. She is passionate about helping clients challenge disordered food beliefs, reduce anxiety around food through food exposures and nutrition education, and quiet all the food noise.
Emily supports clients in building a foundation of eating experiences to facilitate a transition to complete intuitive eating. Clients receive guidance on how to achieve nutrition balance throughout the day, portioning and meal timing, as well as how to identify their body’s hunger and fullness cues.
