Anu has been a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist for over 20 years and is a Certified Wellcoach and Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-500). She takes a non-diet, intuitive eating and Health at Every Size ® (HAES) approach when working with her clients and offers a safe space to explore gradual changes. Anu partners with individuals to offer gentle accountability and encouragement to cultivate mindful changes in eating and lifestyle choices. With her yoga and wellness background she offers simple mind-body practices to help manage anxiety and stress. Her goal is to help bring awareness to the mind-body-food connection in a compassionate way and encourage body acceptance through the different stages of life. Anu’s supportive attitude allows one to feel grounded on the journey of nourishment and wellness.
Anu holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with a minor in Biology. She earned a Master of Science in Dietetics and Nutrition. Additionally, she has 500-hours of yoga training over the last decade and has extensive nutrition experience. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Health Communication at George Mason University.
